POM-C otherwise known as Acetal Copolymer is an engineered plastic. The highly crystalline resins are strong, rigid and have a low coefficient of friction in comparison to metals and other plastics. It is also creep resistant and is recommended for applications where dimensional stability is important.

The polymer has good sliding characteristics and resistance to wear, as well as low moisture absorption. The good dimensional stability and particularly good fatigue strength as well as excellent machining ability make POM a highly versatile engineering material, even for complex components.

PETP is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyethylene terephthalate. This material features wear levels that are better than those of POM and also less moisture absorption than POM. PETP is especially suitable for complex precision parts.

Due to its good creep strength, low moisture absorption and outstanding dimensional stability, PET is extremely well-suited for applications where complex parts and the highest requirements regarding dimensional accuracy and surface quality are needed.

Polyamide 6 (PA 6) is the best known extruded polyamide and offers a combination of all typical polyamide material properties. Compared to the cast varieties however, this variety displays higher water absorption, is less wear resistant and has less dimensional stability. Furthermore, because of the manufacturing process, only a limited size range and unit weight can be produced. This restricts the design possibilities of the user.

PA 66 is used in smaller dimensioned applications and offers higher rigidity and wear resistance compared to PA 6. Compared to the cast varieties, this material also has higher water absorption. Regarding the other properties, PA 66 is comparable to the standard cast type PA 6 G, however it is much more costly. 

This standard quality manufactured in monomer casting process is, due to its balanced mechanical properties and its excellent mechanical features is the ideal construction material for a wide range of applications.


Very good sliding properties mean that PA 6 G is the classical slider material for highly loaded machine components. Among these are bearing bushes, slider pads, guide pads as well as gears and sprockets. Because of the low coefficient of friction only an initial lubrication is generally needed. Often lubrication can be dispensed with altogether.

PA 6 G + Oil is a cast polyamide that is manufactured by direct polymerization. PA 6 G + Oil is PA 6 G modified by means of integrated lubrication with oil, solid lubricants and stabilizers. This produces a coefficient of friction that is up to 50% lower, as well as wear resistance up to five times greater than other polyamides offer.

High density polyethylene (HDPE) is used in a variety of applications and industries where excellent impact resistance, high tensile strength, low moisture absorption and chemical- and corrosion-resistance properties are required.

High molecular weight low pressure polyethylene (PE-HMW) with a molecular weight of approximately 0.5 g/mol. Thanks to the use of specially selected additives it is possible to enhance the material PE500 according to the respective specific demands. This is primarily accomplished by the use of lubricants. 

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE, UHMW) is a subset of the thermoplastic polyethylene. It has extremely long chains, with a molecular mass usually between 3.5 and 7.5 million amu. The longer chain serves to transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone by strengthening intermolecular interactions. This results in a very tough material, with the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic presently made.

Polytetrafluoroethylene is a high crystalline thermoplastic with excellent sliding properties, antiadhesive surfaces, excellent insulation properties, an almost universal chemical resistance and an exceptionally broad temperature deployment spectrum. However, this is offset by low mechanical strength and a high specific weight compared to other plastics. To improve the mechanical properties, polytetrafluoroethylene is compounded with fillers such as glass fibre, carbon or bronze. The polytetrafluoroethylene finished products that we offer consist of high density polytetrafluoroethylene types produced by extrusion or moulding processes.
